1. Streamer Behavior & Gameplay Alignment
  • STREAM_IDENTITY: Your Game Tag must match what you're playing. If you falsify information, you will get flagged.
  • COSMETIC INTEGRITY: Cosmetic cameras, face tracking, and virtual roleplay avatars are disallowed. Broadcast streams must consist strictly of direct video game footage capture.
  • AUDIO COMPLIANCE: Audible background layers must belong entirely to native game assets. No copyrighted music streaming, backing tracks, or external audio loop routing is allowed.
2. Linguistic Style & Filter Bounds
  • COMMUNICATION_STYLE: Chatters and streamers must align with the active room's designated communication style filter (Direct or Casual).
  • CONTENT RESTRICTIONS: Submissions must not contain transactional relationships, financial extraction vectors ("donations"), or account advertising.
  • PROHIBITED MEDIA: Discussion or linking of specialized artistic sub-cultures (e.g., Japanese animated illustrations / anime / manga / erotic content) is forbidden to permanently protect the platform from underage or non-compliant content risks.
3. Peer Banter & Spite Defense
  • INCLUSIVITY MANDATE: Making fellow users or streamers feel unwelcome or uncomfortable is disallowed.

  • This site prevents a consistent identity by making sure the usernames you see only persist within the context, meaning each forum post or livestream channel, and no two people will ever see the same user under the same username. Do not try to take the time out of your busy life to deduce someone's identity.
  • This site also alters messages to make certain words and phrases generic, preventing you from identifying anyone through their speech patterns, and it also prevents the use of proper names or some forms of usernames as would identify or brand someone outside of this site. Do not try to discuss anyone's identity or potential identity.
  • Do not find ways to mistreat or isolate anyone.
  • Do not threaten anyone, and do not push anyone into harming or killing themselves.
  • Do not scare anyone out of this site.
  • Do not obsess over or stalk anyone. If anyone does this to you, just block 'em and move on. It lasts 90 days or longer if they did something incorrect, and you won't know it's them if you meet them under a different name and are forced to behave differently as they site is designed.
  • The site's filters are designed to catch and stop immediate words and phrases that would allow or enable any of the above, but they aren't perfect and can't possibly cover every general or specific case, but that's where the userbase comes in: Do your civic duty and tag it so that nobody slips through the cracks.

  • Do not discuss the involvement of underage people here in any capacity. "Underage" is treated as anyone "under the age" of 18. If I were in charge, I'd make it 30 or 40 for good measure.

  • Owning a pet is fine, plenty of people own regular domestic animals and, in some cases, exotic animals of they know what they're doing, but it stops right there.

  • Do not claim or depict yourself to be an animal of any kind, in part or in whole.
  • Do not obsess over or discuss the idea of dating any or doing anything intimate with any. This is something I didn't know I'd ever have to consider saying, but here we are.
ROLEPLAYERS
  • Again, we're all adults here.
  • Do not pretend to be anything other than a regular, everyday human being trying to live your regular, everyday life on a regular, everyday planet Earth.
  • Do not put any words or phrases in asterisks as this depicts one doing an action in a roleplay setting.
  • If you want to emphasize something, use markdown where applicable.
  • If, in a chat room setting where markdown doesn't tend to exist, you find that you absolutely have to use asterisks to emphasize something, keep it to a minimum.
  • Do not use markdown to get around the anti-asterisk rule, and don't make a habit out of using asterisks around words or phrases in chat rooms.
SITE PARTNERS, BIGSHOTS, MONETIZERS, PUBLIC FIGURES OR CROWDHOARDERS
  • The maximum viewing/chatting capacity for any channel is 50 people.
  • Do not ask for any forms of payment or provide any links that would lead to or allow this.
  • In your livestreams, do not provide your name or other forms of personal information.
  • Do not provide any names or usernames you are commonly known by outside of the site.
  • In your livestreams, do not show your face, use stand-ins like cartoons or models, or use layouts that would identify you. In fact, do not use layouts at all, only direct video game footage or a camera pointed at the monitor or screen.
    • If you choose to point a camera at a monitor or screen, make sure as little of anything else around it is visible, even if it means having to zoom in, and that it's microphone is disabled unless it is the only one you have.
  • Do not advertise personal sites or community hubs for people to find you at.
  • Do not advertise schedules of what you're going to do and when, and do not discuss your life.
  • Do not try to tell anyone where else you are active or try to get around the site's filters in an attempt to.
  • With rare exception, do not link externally as this is the easiest way to pull people off of the site and somewhere to identify yourself. This is the main reason this rule exists, outside of one's own safety and privacy.
TRIHARDS, ACE TRAINERS OR GAME MONSTERS (alternate site only)
  • Do not tell people how to play a game or do anything without them granting permission first.
  • Do not tell them anymore than they directly ask for.
  • Do not discuss how much better you are than someone, especially in a video game setting, whether it is targeted for children or adults.

All you have to do is find another streamer to watch, especially if watching them fail miserably at something frustrates or disinterests you that much and if they refuse to ask for, allow or listen to help.
  • In a PvP setting, mainly involving humans with their usernames out in the open and not computers, do not go out of our way to try to get into a match or lobby with them, and do not act in an attempt to otherwise outplay or overplay them.
  • Do not act in attempt to make someone ragequit, uninstall, refund or destroy a game. Do not frustrate them to this effect or end result. Do not scare or traumatize someone out of video games or any specific title, and do not ruin the experience for them, especially not in a way that they'd never come back. Do not achieve this for the site, either.
CRIMINALS, GANGSTERS OR RACISTS
  • Do not discuss criminal activity or behavior.
  • Do not try to coerce, extort or blackmail anyone into such behavior.
  • Do not depict this in the video games you play with some exceptions, and in thos exceptions, don't be gratuitous or overt about it. If you can't avoid it, don't play it.
  • No excessive foul language. You're not a sailor and this isn't a ship, prison, location in the projects or bad part of town.
  • Do not behave like rappers and hip-hop artists are known to: Do not discuss drugs, alcohol or violent or aggressive behavior.
  • Do not hound someone, especially viciously, over anything they might've said or done, that's what the red tags are for.
  • No racists comments, slurs or discussion of either.
  • No swastikas or offensive hand signs of any kind.
  • Do not discuss weapons, mainly guns. If this can be found in a video game, don't play it. Exceptions are rare.
ANIMALS
  • Do not act impulsively or try to eat anyone alive over anything.
  • Do not coordinate gang assaults on anyone.
  • Do not threaten anyone over what they may have said or done.
HIVEMINDS, HERDS, CLIQUES OR GROUPS
  • Do not create groups for the purposes of making yourselves look bigger than someone, self-protection, intimidation or exclusion.

  • There are no moderators here because the site is designed to moderate itself. Do not tell anyone what to do, and do not threaten anyone who doesn't listen.

  • Keep the excessive sob stories or joyful joys to yourself as the first will ruin everyone's moods and the latter is poor or lacking in taste in every context except when kept to oneself.

  • Do not act in an attempt to take from someone without giving back.

  • Do not punish people for things they couldn't have possibly known, and do not scare, threaten or intimidate them out of asking, no matter how obvious or stupid you find it, and yes, I am fully aware I am making a rule about this on a site meant for discussing video games, but this is the world we live in today.
LIFECASTERS
  • This place may have a layout resembling old JTV, but that's not an excuse to pretend it is.
  • Do not discuss or play anything other than video games here.
  • No hot tubs, plain ol' chatting or pointing a webcam or phone cam at yourself or a view of some place you're walking or hanging out at.
  • No body art.
  • No 24/7 live feeds of anything that isn't video games.
    • Do not do this with video games anyway, even if for the 4-12 hours you would have. The whole point is to play video games, not watch any forms of automation where you barely have to press a button.

  • Do not act in an attempt to find some way to turn every idea or activity you come across in to an opportunity to make a buck or a money-making machine or empire.

WHAT THIS PLACE ISN'T FOR

RETENTION LOOPS
  • A retention loop is defined as anything designed to either keep you waiting for more or keep you nearby, coming back and wanting more.
    • The whole point of a retention loop is much like baiting a scammer, except the other way around: When you bait a scammer, the more time they spend being stalled by you or who or what, the less time they spend scamming people out of their money, but with a retention loop, the more time you spend waiting for whatever it is you're expecting, the less time you spend living your life.
RELIGION OR POLITICS
  • Do not discuss any forms of religion or politics here, no matter how harmless it is or that you find it.
  • No discussion of churches, government or religious or political figures. The only exception to this rule is The Binding of Issac.
GENDER/IDENTITY POLITICS/MINDGAMES OR DEI/SANITATION
  • This is an addendum to the aforementioned mindgame rule, just focused on gender and self-identification.
  • Do not extort, blackmail, coerce or gaslight anyone into being hetero or non-hetero.
  • Do not enforce such ideals onto anyone, either.
  • Do not bait or bait-and-switch anyone in this manner, either.
  • Do not play or advertise video games designed to virtue signal or provide a role for every race, religion, gender and body shape and stature known to man.
  • Do not complain that video games you encounter on this site don't fit the bill.
SELF-CENSORSHIP OR EXCESSIVE SENSITIVITY
  • Do not go out of your way to stop people from talking about topics you are sensitive to if it doesn't immediately break the site's rules or spiritually so.
    • Just because today's society doesn't want anyone to talk about it doesn't immediately make it dangerous, and while most topics on that list can be agreed with, it shouldn't result in refraining from talking about anything without fear of backlash or burial.
  • Do not censor yourself.
    • Do not replace words or phrases with other words, especially knowing how stupid it sounds. This isn't TikTok or YouTube, this site's filters don't work that way and we don't cater to advertisers, so say it directly.
    • Short list of examples: Do not say "sewer slide" instead of "suicide", or "unalive, put in a box, put in a pack, put on a newspaper, sent to Jerusalem, turned into a chalk outline" or "co-sign one's obituary" instead of "kill" or "die."
    • Do not say "plus size" instead of "fat."
  • Again, do not speak litigiously or like a lawyer, especially in a manner to veil threats or speak to protect yourself "in court," with or without quotations.
  • This is not PBS or a children's channel or programming, you don't have to talk like it, just don't speak with the language of Manhunt, either.
JAPANESE ANIMATIONS OR JRPGS
  • Japan itself is not necessarily the problem. It's art style is. What do I mean? Their cartons sexualize just about anything they come across, including minors, and this doesn't help with their age of consent. For this exact reason, most JRPGs and Japan-made video game media are banned here because, even without the art style, their behavior is a little too sexual for the purpose of this site.

WHAT THIS PLACE IS FOR

RETRO VIDEO GAMES
  • If it's old by a few years and doesn't have modern-day mechanics or functions designed as brain-rotting retention loops, it counts as retro.
  • Anything up to the PS3 generation is treated this way.
SPEEDRUNS
  • You don't necessarily have to break the game from the inside out to be treated as playing it fast. Just put a timer on it and try not to make it look like a fast playthrough or a semi-blind playthrough with a timer.
TAS RUNS
  • Tool-Assisted Speedruns are also allowed here. They tend to contain actions, movements and events otherwise unachievable by humans alone.
HORROR GAMES
  • With some exceptions, if you're into horror games, they're completely welcome here. Some of us love a good spook, and some people out there even fall asleep to this sort of thing.
FIGHTING GAMES
  • If you're into fighting games, mainly online matches, they are perfectly allowed here, just restrain yourself on one's costumes if they show significant amounts of skin. As this is the only exception to the identification rule, don't go out of your way to advertise.
MARATHONS
  • Whether it's one person going for 12 hours or up to 6 people going for 24 hours at 4 hours a piece, we welcome people who like to play video games just to give people something to fall asleep to or watch while working or doing other things. This would be considered unhealthy if each person didn't have a 4-hour limit and had to wait 48 hours per token before plotting to do it again.
